ARTIST REGISTRATION
Registration for all artists is NOW OPEN! Please follow this link to the form ARTIST REGISTRATION to tell us more about your art and pay the $35 booth fee. The deadline for artist registration and payment is Friday, April 18, 2025.
EVENT DETAILS
FRIDAY, MAY 16
4 PM – 7 PM: Adams Galleries (1310 RR 620 S, Suite C)
"Adams Galleries is pleased to support the City of Lakeway and the Lakeway Arts Committee in the 2025 ArtWALK," said Gretchen von Rochow, Galleries Director. "Join us at the gallery on Friday, May 16, as we kick off the weekend’s festivities: an artist meet-and-greet, wine, and light bites from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This event is open to the public and free of charge. We are next door to The League Kitchen & Tavern in the Lakeway Plaza: 1310 RR 620 S, Suite C-4."
About Adams Galleries: Fine Art & Custom Framing in Lakeway since 2015. Offering an extensive selection of fine art, they feature original art from local, regional, and nationally recognized artists, as well as enhanced giclée's on canvas and paper. Services include complimentary art consultations, custom framing, and art installation services for your residence or business.
7 PM - 8:30 PM: TexARTS Association (1110 RR 620 S)
Join us for a live performance at TexARTS. The opening night of ArtWALK 2025 will feature a performance that is FREE and open to the public. More details will be provided soon about the performance.
SATURDAY, MAY 17
10 AM - 4 PM: Arts at Hamilton Greenbelt and Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden (104 Cross Creek)
- Walk the path at the Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden and enjoy a variety of art along the way during this FREE community event. There will also be food for purchase by local favorites Craig O's Pizza, Love & Cookies and more!
- Children's Coloring Contest: There will be an opportunity for children to participate in a coloring contest, with the entries judged by our mayor.
- Parking is available at the Lakeway Justice Complex Located at 105 Cross Creek.
- In case of inclement weather:
- Artisans will move to the Activity Center at 105 Cross Creek.
- Performers will be cancelled.
- Culinary food vendors will be cancelled unless the foods are fully prepared and pre-packaged.
10 AM - 4 PM: Art Studio Tours at Various Locations (Locations Available Soon)
- Several homes and businesses will be open for viewing during this time. There will also be some active demonstrations and artists at work.
- Rock Painting: Children will be able to help paint rocks at the Enchanted Forest Studio Tour, which will be added to the Painted Rock Garden in the Hamilton Greenbelt.
2 PM - 4 PM: LTHS Student Art Exhibit at the City Hall Art Gallery
- This exhibit will be open to the public to view through the month of May, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a special 'Meet and Greet' artist reception on May 17, 2 - 4 pm. This also includes a People's Choice Award selection that day! Be sure to VOTE!
SUNDAY, MAY 18
10 AM - 4 PM: Art Studio Tours at Various Locations (Locations announced later)
- Several homes and businesses will be open for viewing during this time.
4 PM: Masterpiece Concert Series Concert Performance at the Lakeway Activity Center (105 Cross Creek).
Concert will feature: Samuel Barber’s Cello Sonata, Op.6 and Brahms Piano Quartet No. 3 in C Minor. Performing will be Sari Pearce, violin; Bruce Williams, viola, Principal Austin Symphony Orchestra; Andrew Pearce, cello; and Rick Rowley, piano, University of Texas!
PARKING
Parking for the events at the Hamilton Greenbelt and Hurst Creek Sculpture Garden will be available in the Justice Center Complex parking lot (104 Cross Creek) and Activity Center parking lot (105 Cross Creek). The Hamilton Greenbelt parking area will be CLOSED to the general public on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 for the event.
