Refugees Back to School Block Party - EDITS REQUESTED

Starting the school year can be tough. It is even harder for refugee children. Catholic Charities of Central Texas is hosting their first-ever Block Party to assemble back to school kits for refugees. Providing these resources for the legal immigrant refugees is crucial in making a success for new citizens of Austin. The event is family friendly and will have food trucks, kona ice, and live music by musicians from Community First Village. The Community First village was started by Mobile Loaves & Fishes as an effort to combat homelessness. The musicians and all residents in the village were formerly homeless and now keep the village's own community running themselves. Attendance at the event is free. Bring your family to help new Texas families.
