Spark Your Imagination Exhibit

The Bastrop County Historical Society is excited to introduce a vibrant new interactive exhibit, developed in partnership with Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, exploring the science and history of electricity in Bastrop County.
Designed with young learners and families in mind, the exhibit invites visitors to discover how electricity has shaped everyday life—both in the past and today. Guests will come face-to-face with historical artifacts from Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative’s archives, including early electric appliances, vintage signage, and other fascinating objects that highlight the evolution of electric service in the region.
