Solar Eclipse

Join us in observing this momentous event, which won't happen again until 2044! As you watch the eclipse with the free Eclipse glasses at the City Hall Parking lot, you are welcome to optional food, a photo booth, and more fun activities!
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America and will be visible in Lakeway beginning at 12:17pm. Lakeway will reach totality at 1:35pm - meaning that the moon's shadow will completely block the face of the sun for approximately 3 minutes!
